“Your Story; Your Gift”
Women’s Writing Retreat
October 11th through 13th, 2013 / Boulder, Colorado
Every woman with a story to tell must give herself sacred space and time in which to tell it, because that story – and the process of developing it – has the power to change lives; hers and others’.
This retreat will provide that sacred space and time, in the company of a small, dedicated group of women who are gathering to tell their stories, and help you discover the power in yours.
- Someone who keeps saying, “I have a story to tell, I just don’t know how to get started.”
- Ready for a few days away from your normal routine, to meet new friends, and play with your writing, no matter what comes of it.
- Yearning for a tranquil, focused environment in which to work on a special writing project, for fun or for business.
- All of the above.
The retreat will be held at the Missions House Lodge at Chautauqua National Park in Boulder, CO.
There are 7 guest rooms available in the Missions Lodge, 6 with a Queen Bed and a private bathroom, and 1 with two twin beds and a private bath.
We will also be renting several cabins to accommodate additional guests. (Details to come)
The registration fee of $895 includes the retreat program, lodging, and the meal plan.
The meal plan option will include the evening reception on Friday, breakfast, lunch, and tea on Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. There will be snacks and beverages available at the Lodge throughout the program. You will be on your own for dinner on Friday and Saturday night.

Feedback from our 2012 attendees:
“Whether you’re interested in sharing your story through writing, public speaking, or for your own personal healing, Jenifer’s Write Brain Women’s retreat is a must! I attended the WBW retreat unsure of the power in my story and in complete confusion about how and where to begin. I was stuck in a rut and decorating it! That began to change the minute I settled into a chair and heard Jenifer share her story.”
“There is something almost magical about women sharing their stories with one another. It leads to bonding and empowerment. Jenifer does a beautiful job of blending that natural occurrence with both practical and creative guidance. Regardless of where each attendee found themselves in the process of sharing their story, Jenifer provided useful practices and tools to propel each member of the group forward. The improvisational segment brought me fully into the present moment, in touch with my intuitive nature, enabling me to write with a sense of ease. The encouragement, feedback, and resources I received from Jenifer, as well as fellow participants, has proven to be helpful long after the conclusion of our time together. I’m writing now and loving it!”
“Every detail of the WBW retreat was exquisite! The location and accommodations beautiful, the food delicious, and the laughter and tears truly a gift! I look forward to attending again next year!”
